This privacy policy governs your use of the software application ECBCurrencies (“Application”) for iOS mobile devices that was created by Akkon Software Dr. Andreas Plagens.

The application is a currency conversion program, with more than 30 currency rates compared to the Euro. It also allows for currency conversion calculations between any possible pair of the provided currencies.

What information does the application obtain and how is it used?

The application does not obtain any personal information from you. Anything that you do inside the application remains on your device only.

The displayed data that is shown on the screens is stored on your device only for later retrieval.

Akkon Software Dr. Andreas Plagens do not collect any data from you by using the application. 

Automatical Collected Information

In order to obtain actual currency exchange rates, the application connects from time to time to the web server of the European Central Bank (ECB). For this, a request for xml-data is being sent. This request does not contain any data other than necessary to receive the response. No user data is transmitted to the servers of the ECB.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the application?

As we do not have access to any user related information ourselves, we are not able share any information with third parties. 

What are my opt-out rights?

If you are not happy with our application or the way it is handling your data, you can opt-out by uninstalling the application from your device by using the standard uninstallation process that is available for your mobile device.

This privacy policy might be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting a new Privacy Policy here.

Your consent

By using the applications, you are consenting with the way this application is collecting publicly available data from the servers of the European Central Bank by sending an anonymous request from your device.

The application is making use of your internet connection. This maybe subject to charges as set forth by your mobile services provider.
